What IS Religion 101??
Wait- I’m already Catholic! I went to Catholic School! Or,
CCD. Or, none of the above…or, I pretty much forgot what
I learned, or never learned much about my religion. That’s
where Religion 101 comes in. Too often the only adults meeting
in a group at a parish are those who are studying to become Catholic.
But so many others want to know more about their Catholic faith,
and what everything means. Everyone is invited to Religion 101,
which will be held one Tuesday evening a month, covering basic
topics in our religion.
The facilitators for the evenings are three members of our parish who can answer questions and lead the discussion about Catholicism:
Msgr, Liam Kidney, M. Ed, M. Th;
Fr. Laurence Gallagher, M. Th,
Jane Richardson, MTS.
The next session will be on Tuesday, February 9, at 7.30 in Room 13 of the school. The topic will be Lent: History, Practices and Practicalities, presented by Debbie Dahlen, MA (Candidate, LMU)
All are welcome to come and participate in an evening of furthering our knowledge about the Catholic faith. Contact Jane Richardson :
