Corpus Christi Lectors

Lector ministry is an integral part of the liturgy. As lectors at Corpus Christi Church, we undertake the task of proclaiming the Scriptures. In and through lectors, God speaks to the congregation. “May the Lord be in my heart and my lips that I may proclaim the good news of salvation.” (Lector’s Prayer)

Lectors are scheduled one reader per mass; a schedule is prepared every two months. Prior to serving as a lector, potential lectors must attend a training session. Two training sessions are offered each year.
